Five days over Kihnu
Published: 1 July 2026
From 19 to 23 June, Eesti Langevarjuklubi’s summer jumping life moved back to Kihnu airfield. Five days of jumps over the island, tandems, club life and excellent international coaches made the camp one of the season’s most memorable gatherings.
In the second half of June, Kihnu became a temporary summer home for Estonian skydivers. ELAK’s Midsummer jumping camp started on 19 June and continued until 23 June, bringing together club members, students, tandem jumpers and friends at Kihnu airfield. The weather gave everyone the chance to make repeated jumps over the island, the sea and the coastline.
One of the camp’s biggest strengths was the presence of strong international coaches, including the world-renowned Peter Allum. They helped jumpers polish their skills, gave detailed feedback and brought fresh experience from the international skydiving scene. Coaching like this adds a lot to the season: it helps jumpers leave their comfort zone, fly with more awareness and learn from small details that are easy to miss on your own.

Thank you to everyone who helped organize the Kihnu camp, came along, jumped, coached, flew, took photos or simply made the camp atmosphere better. Upcoming club events, courses and jumping days can be found in our Facebook group and on the website.
